DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION: Enjoy the fun and camaraderie of shooting pool with fellow Members! Ability ranges from beginner to experienced. After the games we socialize over an optional light lunch in the Legion lounge. \nWHERE: Royal Canadian Legion\, 411 Gorge Road E. (corner of Gorge and Jutland). \nPARKING: At Legion\, free. \nWHEN: Weekly every Friday at 11:00am – 2:30pm. \nWHO: Open to all VRMNC Members and guests who may be interested in joining the club. Seasoned players can provide instruction to new members as required. Concurrent players is limited by number tables to 16. \nBRING: All equipment is available at the Legion.

DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION: The group is an excellent forum to meet other people interested in investments and for members to share ideas and learn more about finances. Meetings typically include lunch and a presentation (often virtual) from a speaker with financial industry knowledge and/or experience. We run an annual Stock Picking Challenge where members submit a portfolio in a friendly competition among the group. \nWHERE: Uplands Golf Course\, 3300 Cadboro Bay Rd.\, Victoria. \nPARKING: In Golf Course parking lot or on Cadboro Bay Rd\, free. \nWHEN: Meetings are held the third Friday of each month; no meetings in December\, July\, or August. Lunch normally starts at 11:30AM in the Dining Room and then moves to an adjacent Conference Room for the presentation and discussion. \nWHO: Open to all VRMNC Members and partners and guests who may be interested in joining VRMNC. \nBRING: $5 for Presentation Room & towards Speaker’s Lunch + cost of your lunch ordered.
