DESCRIPTION:WHAT:  A guided tour of the to “the Centre of the Universe “\, more formally known as the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory.   The tour will start at 10 AM on Wednesday\, June 18th.   It will feature a walk through the Observatory\, a planetarium show and an examination of actual images taken from the telescope. \nThis two-hour tour includes a presentation and Q&A session with an astronomer. It’s always a hit with visitors\, so we hope you plan to join this unique star-gazing kick-off to Summer. \nWHO:   Open up to 30 members and guests who buy a ticket to attend the reserved tour \nCOST:   11.00$ per person upon registering by buying a ticket below \nTICKETS:  Please click plus sign and buy ticket(s) below before 12 PM on Friday\, June 13th. \nPlease advise if you register but are unable to attend so we can add someone on our waiting list to the group.  Thank you.

DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION: 9-holes of golf plus optional lunch / libation. \nWHERE: Various local courses at Ardmore\, Metchosin\, Cedar Hill and mostly Highland Pacific with an annual trip to an up-island course such as Chemainus or Duncan. All winter games are at Highland Pacific. \nWHEN: All games are on Wednesdays except at Ardmore where we play on Thursdays. Games start at 10:30AM at Ardmore and Metchosin. At Highland Pacific play starts at 11am from November through March and at 12:30pm from April through October. Many golfers stay for lunch following their rounds.
