John will talk on “Seniors and Driving: What You Need To Know”. \nThe event will take place on Thursday\, January 22\, at the Oak Bay Rec Centre\, doors opening at 11:30 am. \nMore about John…\nJohn Ducker now writes a regular driving column for the Times-Colonist. DESCRIPTION:Our next field trip will be a unique experience – a tour of the restored car collection of Rudi Koniczek\, who moved to the Island from Germany via Toronto in 1968.\nRudi has shared his passion for vintage Mercedes ever since\, and one of his favourites—a gorgeous silver 1955 300 SL with a rare aluminum body—sold in 2012 for $4.6 million. \nThis special tour for VRMNC members conducted by Rudi himself will dazzle anyone with an interest in the finer cars in life. \n \nWHAT: Tour of the Restored Car Collection of Rudi Koniczek \nWHEN: Thursday\, January 29th starting at 10:30 a.m \nWHERE: at Rudi’s place\, 275 Viaduct Avenue West\, Saanich.
