DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION: 9-holes of golf plus optional lunch / libation. \nWHERE: Various local courses at Ardmore\, Metchosin\, Cedar Hill and mostly Highland Pacific with an annual trip to an up-island course such as Chemainus or Duncan. All winter games are at Highland Pacific. \nWHEN: All games are on Wednesdays except at Ardmore where we play on Thursdays. Games start at 10:30AM at Ardmore and Metchosin. At Highland Pacific play starts at 11am from November through March and at 12:30pm from April through October. Many golfers stay for lunch following their rounds. (Once in awhile we venture a bit further afield.) Lunch follows at a restaurant or pub somewhere in the vicinity. \nWHEN: We meet once per month\, normally 2nd Sunday of the month. Typically we meet at 9:45 at the trailhead for a 10:00 start. Lunch is typically at 12:30 or so. \nWHO: Open to all VRMNC Members and partners. Hike Leaders volunteer from a yearly schedule (a.k.a. DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION: Meetings of the group provide excellent opportunities to meet and enjoy fellowship with others interested in domestic and international affairs and events that could present investment and financial planning opportunities.  Members are encouraged to participate in discussions\, share ideas and if it suits their interests\, to suggest speakers for future meetings or take responsibility alone or with a team to present at a future meeting. Forming such teams can reveal shared background or interests and deepen friendships. \nMeetings include lunch and a presentation (in person as often as possible) from a speaker with financial industry knowledge and experience. \nAn annual Stock Picking Contest is held where members submit a portfolio of five Canadian companies or ETF’s creating a friendly\, rewarding competition \nWHERE: Uplands Golf Course\, 3300 Cadboro Bay Rd.\, Victoria. \nPARKING: In Golf Course parking lot or on Cadboro Bay Rd\, free. \nWHEN: Meetings are held the third Friday of each month; no meetings in December\, July\, or August. DESCRIPTION:DESCRIPTION: 9-holes of golf plus optional lunch / libation. \nWHERE: Various local courses at Ardmore\, Metchosin\, Cedar Hill and mostly Highland Pacific with an annual trip to an up-island course such as Chemainus or Duncan. All winter games are at Highland Pacific. \nWHEN: All games are on Wednesdays except at Ardmore where we play on Thursdays. Games start at 10:30AM at Ardmore and Metchosin. At Highland Pacific play starts at 11am from November through March and at 12:30pm from April through October. Many golfers stay for lunch following their rounds.
