Our next field trip will be a unique experience - a tour of the restored car collection of Rudi Koniczek, who moved to the Island from Germany via Toronto in 1968. Rudi has shared his passion for vintage Mercedes ever since, and one of his favourites—a gorgeous silver 1955 300 SL with a rare aluminum body—sold in 2012 for $4.6 million.
This special tour for VRMNC members conducted by Rudi himself will dazzle anyone with an interest in the finer cars in life.

WHERE: Rudi’s place, 275 Viaduct Avenue West, Saanich. (Park on Viaduct and meet at his driveway entrance.)
WHEN: Thursday, January 29th starting at 10:30 a.m
