Located 14 km west of downtown Victoria and surrounded by BC and Washington state coastal landscapes, we will explore Fort Rodd Hill, a 19th-century west coast artillery fortress on active duty from 1895 to 1956 and Fisgard Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse on Canada's west coast. We have arranged for a private tour guide to take our group through the main points of interest throughout the site – from the Garry Oak meadow to Fisgard Lighthouse – and our guide will share stories of the people who have shaped and been shaped by the land throughout history here.
The guided tour begins at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 5 and is open to VRMNC members and guests. Space is limited so please order your tickets ($17.50 each) today using the link below.
