PRESENTATION: How We Brought the Martin Mars Flying Boat to Victoria
SPEAKER: Steve Nichol, President of the BC Air Museum will talk about the background negotiations and technical challenges required to acquire and fly the “Hawaii Mars” water bomber, one of only 2 existing WW2 Flying Boats, from Sproat Lake to Saanich Inlet and then transport it overland the Air Museum.
