More about Ed…
Ed Nissen went to Cambridge to study Chemistry, but got hooked on Geology instead. He moved to archrival Oxford for his PhD, before returning to Cambridge for a post doctoral appointment.
After eleven years in Oxbridge, Ed felt the call of North America and moved first to the South-western US (Arizona and Colorado) and then to the Pacific Northwest.
He loves living and working in western North America where earthquake science is so relevant and impactful.
