Nearly 50 VMNC members and their partners assembled in two groups on a breezy but beautiful June mid-day on the magnificent grounds of Government House, the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia.
Special Event Review: Jun 26 Bridge Extravaganza
What better way to usher in the summer than with a VMNC Bridge Extravaganza! Twenty-eight of the Club’s social bridge players participated in an evening of delicious pizza, spirited conversation and, of course, terrific bridge in what is shaping up to be a much anticipated annual event.
Hiking Review: June 27 Ten Mile Point
A larger than normal Hiking Group met on June 27, 2017 at Cadboro-Gyro beach to commence a hike around Ten Mile Point. Ten Mile Point was so named because it is exactly 10 nautical miles from what was at the time the headquarters of the Pacific Station of the Royal Navy (now CFB Esquimalt). (more…)
