In conjunction with the astronomy visit at the University of Victoria on May 15, 2017, we had lunch at the Lemongrass Restaurant. Since we were a large group we had the private upstairs room. We have all experienced dining at a restaurant in a large group and usually expect to be disappointed with the food and the service.

The Lemongrass destroyed that expectation. Because of the large group, they requested we preorder from the online menu. The meals came on time and were as ordered. The restaurant had name cards for each person plus what they had ordered. The meals were served on time and exactly as ordered.
I had the Krapow Chicken with medium spice. Although I would have liked a little more chicken, it was perfectly cooked and did not taste like it had been sitting on a warming rack for a long time. The vegetables in the dish were fresh, crisp and tasty. As you would expect in a Thai restaurant, the rice was perfectly done. I have been to the Lemongrass a few times previously and am always happy with the meal and the service.
When it came time to pay, the restaurant had each person’s bill prepared by name so the process was relatively painless and accomplished with minimal delay.
